Whatever the style of yoga, one thing remains constant – I always try to bring an element of fun into my classes. After all... laughter is medicine too! And my hope is that everyone leaves one of my classes or a one-to-one session feeling calmer, more connected, and remembering that the journey of healing begins within.

I deeply understand how unhealed family and childhood trauma can impact a person's life path and relationships. The trauma patterns left over from early life can leave a lasting mark on a person's emotional and mental well-being and self-worth, causing sadness, depression, tendencies to self-sabotage one's success, and holding back in life from pursuing one's purpose and dreams.

That's why I support women and mothers today in their healing and recovery from trauma to reclaim their self-empowerment and sense of self through compassionate healing, intuitive guidance, and support that is truly aligned with a person's mind, body, spirit, and soul. I invite in gentleness and empowerment through the breath, encouraging you to tune in to the wisdom of the body.

Conscious connected breathing is a ‘bottom-up’ approach that begins with felt sense and perceptions in the body. This style of breathwork encourages you to bring conscious awareness to the breath and connect each breath to the next without any pauses in between, allowing breathers to reach a meditative state during sessions. Practiced alongside a curated playlist of emotive music, you can experience a switch from the busy, thinking mind, to the felt sense of the body.

The reason I focus below the belt?  
I’m not ok with capable, productive women who are busy juggling life being shafted when it comes to women’s well-being - and in particular, good pelvic floor function.  The old paradigm is imploding.  Wise women are waking up to the fact that we’re NOT little men in skirts.  Ladies, our bodies are not failing us, but our lifestyles and the paradigm we grew up in have failed our bodies.  Passion always stems from experiential knowledge.  I’m recovering from growing up in an ill-equipped (for women), medicalised world and experiencing birth traumas and peri menopausal burnout. My ADHD brain has been focused on improving women's health outcomes in birth (my YogaBirthing method), in post-birth recovery (my YogaMums method) and in the peri- to post menopausal years (with my WomensWellbeing.me platform) - for over 20 years!

I’m Vicki Rebecca, a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist with decades of experience supporting people through change, transition and recovery.

My work is grounded, relational and embodied, supporting people to move beyond insight alone into change that can genuinely be lived. I work one-to-one with clients both in person and online, offering psychotherapy and hypnotherapy that supports emotional healing, nervous system regulation and personal growth.

Alongside therapy, I offer residential therapeutic retreats from my home in Aboyne, which also hosts OSHO meditation activities. These retreats provide space for deeper immersion, combining therapeutic work with meditation, embodied practices and gentle energy work to support integration at a whole-person level.

At the heart of my work is supporting people in meeting what is present with honesty, compassion and practical tools for real life.
