I’m Vicki Rebecca, a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist with decades of experience supporting people through change, transition and recovery.

My work is grounded, relational and embodied, supporting people to move beyond insight alone into change that can genuinely be lived. I work one-to-one with clients both in person and online, offering psychotherapy and hypnotherapy that supports emotional healing, nervous system regulation and personal growth.

Alongside therapy, I offer residential therapeutic retreats from my home in Aboyne, which also hosts OSHO meditation activities. These retreats provide space for deeper immersion, combining therapeutic work with meditation, embodied practices and gentle energy work to support integration at a whole-person level.

We do this through connecting you with your inner/higher self supported by mindfulness, meditation, nature connection and Forest Therapy. We believe that you hold the answers to your own life circumstances and hold the power within to make the necessary changes. We are all on our own unique journey therefore your own unique life awaits you from within; we have to stop looking for an external solution to an internal problem. All our facilitators have lived experience and are showing up for themselves today by acknowledging their journey isn't always easy but possible. Everything I do is about nurturing your inner freedom, the freedom to live as your whole self, unmasked, unapologetic, and unafraid to take up space. Your body is a living portal to this freedom, and holds the key to your vitality and to the truth of who you are. It carries far more wisdom than we have ever been taught to trust, and when we learn to listen to our body, life begins to move differently. This shapes everything I offer, from one-to-one emotional release, somatic coaching, group programmes, community workshops, and immersive retreats.

Much of my work supports those who have spent years people-pleasing, over-giving, and silencing their own dreams, desires, and truth. I have seen how this pattern erodes self-worth and self-trust, where every decision becomes a struggle, and leads to feeling stuck. Over time, if the people-pleasing patterns continues, it often leads to deep regret. I notice this particularly in older clients who look back and realise they have lived a life they never truly owned.

People-pleasing is often a mask for repressed anger and unprocessed grief. Repressing these emotions influences our health, our choices, and our relationships.

My role is to help you uncover the root cause of these patterns, meet the younger parts of you that still carry outdated stories, address feelings of burnout, depression, or stuckness, and reconnect you with what authentic belonging feels like, starting within yourself.

I guide people from all walks of life, and from around the world, to release emotional blocks, restore nervous system safety, and nurture a healthy, embodied relationship with themselves first, and then with others, their communities, and the world at large.

My work bridges science and soul. With a PhD in the psychology of behaviour change, I can support tangible, lasting behavioural shifts in my clients, while my trainings in embodied modalities ensures deeper emotional healing and integration.

As a Neo-Emotional Release practitioner, an umbrella term for various modalities, I merge somatic experiencing with psychosomatics, adopting both top-down and bottom-up approaches. This means I work with the mind, the body, and the connection between them. The methods I utilise include inner child work, Internal Family Systems (IFS), family constellation, ancestral and intergenerational patterns, reiki, and hands-on bodywork for in-person sessions. As a somatic attachment coach, I explore attachment patterns shaped since childhood and guide clients toward secure, nourishing ways of relating.

I am also a sound practitioner and somatic movement facilitator, using sound and movement as powerful gateways to healing and to breaking free from conditioned ways of being, within a diverse community of like-minded people.

My most recent offering is an 8-week programme for women who people-please, and are ready to stop living for the approval of others and reclaim their voice, their boundaries, and their joy. This is a deep, embodied journey that blends the power of community with the intimacy of personalised support. Each week, we gather for group calls that offer learning, sharing, and guided practices, supported by pre-recorded resources you can revisit anytime. Having been a complementary therapist since 2018, observing the patterns of misalignment in the emotional and physical body, I wanted to be able to offer something to my clients that allowed them to take more control of their health and not need to rely on repeat treatments from a therapist in order to have a good quality of life.The Ixchel System approach looks firstly at the gait and biomechanics. Identifying any misalignment that may be creating blocks in the nervous system and unnecessary pain in the musculoskeletal system.  We then support clients through a 7 module program, Get Into Your Body, minimum of 7 weeks in total, which entails a series of practices to mobilise the joints commencing at the feet and progressing up the body before finishing at the jaw. The goal being to achieve optimum alignment in each individuals body, getting the joints to work properly to reduce stiffness and pain. We create a supportive foundation in the feet, legs and pelvis which allows for increased freedom in the upper body.
